Susan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University.  After receiving her Master of Science in Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University, Susan worked as a milieu therapist in the inpatient psychiatry unit at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, a unit specializing in eating disorders.  Susan has experience working with young adults, adolescents, couples, families and individuals from a variety of backgrounds.  She believes in treatment from a systemic and multidisciplinary approach and enjoys collaborating with clients in order to create a treatment plan that is unique to them.  Susan is committed to providing clients with a supportive and safe environment to pursue their goals.

In addition to working with clients struggling with eating disorders, Susan sees clients struggling with relationship concerns, self-harm behaviors, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, addiction, and women’s issues.  Susan is an associate member in good standing of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
